Working with the strengths of the individuals I support, my mandate is to use structured literacy to strengthen reading, writing and comprehension skills. With patience and positive reinforcement, students are taught the skills and techniques to develop their literacy skills. I have worked with all ages and with students who have multiple disabilities. My background experience with clients diagnosed with dyslexia, auditory processing, attention deficit disorders, autism, communication and language delays is extensive. My training and experience implementing the Wilson Reading System has demonstrated that with the right professional and program success can be achieved.
