
When Melissa Klander’s daughter was identified as dyslexic in grade 3, it fueled her to make a positive impact in the dyslexia community. In 2020, she volunteered her time and expertise to IDA Ontario, fully dedicated to supporting and advocating for individuals with dyslexia. In 2021, she was invited to join the board of directors of IDA Ontario.
In her capacity as a board member, Melissa’s main responsibility is contributing to the format and logistics of IDA Ontario’s annual Literacy and Learning Conference. This role allows her to make a positive impact on the event and further advance the organization’s mission to support dyslexic individuals throughout Ontario.
With over 25 years of experience in the event industry, Melissa has established herself as a highly respected professional. She is known for her creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills. She has the ability to bring visions to life and create unforgettable experiences that leave a lasting impact on attendees.
