New partnership with Microsoft Canada

Dyslexia has been a hot topic in the news recently. Individuals from all walks of life have been sharing their stories of struggles and triumphs to break the stigma of dyslexia.  Yet many people are unsure of what dyslexia is and do not feel confident in their ability to support those affected by it.

We are excited to announce that over the next several months IDA Ontario will be working in partnership with Microsoft Canada to help educators across Canada navigate this topic. We have created a “Dyslexia Tool Kit” and a four-part series of webinars to help educators connect with the information and resources they need to build a deeper understanding of dyslexia and learn how to better support all students in literacy.

We are also excited to have the opportunity co-host IncludED Toronto 2020. This year’s keynote speaker will be Kate Griggs the founder of Made By Dyslexia. This is a free event but space is limited, click here to register before it fills up!
