IDA Ontario funded Public Libraries: find dyslexia-friendly resources here!

IDA Ontario is thrilled to announce that we are providing 62 public libraries mini-grants to purchase decodable books and dyslexia resources!

Our successful fundraising campaign, Read October 2020, raised money to launch this program. We received so many fantastic applications from right across Ontario, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of Ontario’s librarians to share information about dyslexia in their communities and make decodable books a part of their collection!  Thanks to the generosity of IDA Ontario donors we were able to expand this program this year to support 62 libraries, including many rural and northern communities.  Our goal is to expand this program even more next year, to support this initiative please join or support Read October!

Thank you to everyone who contacted their local libraries asking them to apply, and thank you to everyone who donated to make this program possible!

Look for a location near you to find dyslexia resources!
